How to clean the Nintendo Wii Fit Balance Board?

I've had my Wii fit for a month and I have a deck but I will be buying a deck soon. I kept clean so far, but I've noticed lately that has dirty foot print marks. I read the manual, but does not give you some tips on how to clean or what products to use. Also, do not want to damage the balance board with the sponge chemicals or bad. Does anyone have any idea how to clean it up? Your help would be much appreciated!

I use Clorox wipes and / or magic eraser with a paper towel. Both do a good job. I have a cover, but sometimes slides around. End up taking away today because I was tired of moving under my feet.
