How can I take my weight gain after menopause?

I diet all my life and know most of the boards of the traditional diet. My eating habits are not always the greatest - I binge "healthy snacking (boredom, emotions), plus 3 meals available fat low-carb. I count calories and 1200 on a good day of 1600 in a day of rest. I exercise fairly regularly walk 3x weekly 1 hour, 2x Pilates 1x out with weights. I feel good but have not been able to take the middle-aged "tires. Last year I managed to get 10 pounds, but appear to have been brought back again. I feel discouraged and do not like the way LOOOK on clothes now. Any ideas?

Given what has been said above, more aerobic activity would be very beneficial. Walking, Pilates and weight classes are excellent, but consider most of the activities that get your heart rate much higher for long periods of time that the consumption of more energy. Unfortunately, your metabolism has slowed down a bit (what who do not consume much power at rest, as used to). You are already eating pretty well, so the only option is to increase energy use - Which, unfortunately, means that aerobic activity ... Consider taking some water aerobics classes! Works great!
