If you would like to work in one of the many Pilates studios, fitness clubs, therapeutic clinics, or simply as a personal trainer the main thing to focus certification is getting a Pilates training center in good standing. There are many training institutions that offer certification courses in Pilates. You would have to attend hundreds of hours of lectures, training, and apprentice work before they are considered qualified for a rigorous written and practical exam.

Each student must have studied anatomy and must be a certified fitness professional or vocational rehabilitation license to even try to obtain certification Pilates. All qualified Pilates instructors must attend continuing education classes that are required to maintain certification status throughout the duration of their instruction and training.

Many of the most renowned institutions of Pilates include physical training Mind Institute, The Pilates Studio Polestar Education, and Stott Pilates. Most courses are offered through its massive network of affiliated studios or fitness clubs.

The Pilates Studio has eleven locations worldwide courses and teaches Authentic Pilates, who are faithful to the original forms, techniques and sequences that were developed by Joseph Pilates. It is also affiliated with the Union of Pilates which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of personal achievements by Joseph Pilates of their work.

The starting phase of the curriculum includes a series of seminars on beginner, intermediate and advanced exercise taking place on the mat and equipment. The second phase includes a six to one hundred hours learning program working closely with a certified instructor of Pilates Guild. Exams are required after each phase and must be fully completed in a year. The cost of the whole program is about $ 4,000.

Obtaining certification is only the beginning. Pilates exercises "have been receiving more attention and dedication of people around the world.
